A punch of spice dresses up bite-sized florets in this Paprika Roasted Cauliflower recipe. Roasting the cauliflower brings out the sweet, rustic flavor of this nutritious, cruciferous veggie, making it the perfect side dish to dress up just about any meal.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
INGREDIENTS:
1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets
1 medium red or yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning blend
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sweet or smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large, rimmed baking pan with unbleached parchment paper.
Put all of the ingredients into a large bowl. Stir to combine.
Spread the mixture in an even layer on the lined baking pan. Bake for 40 to 55 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and golden around the edges. Serve warm.
