ABOUT THE RECIPE:
Quick Tomato Salad is one of my summer staples, perfect to serve when tomatoes are at the height of their season and readily available at my local farmers’ market. You’ll be surprised at its full-bodied flavor even though it’s only using a few very simple and basic ingredients.
Makes 2 to 3 servings
INGREDIENTS:
1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
2 to 3 small cloves garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
Freshly ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
Toss all of the ingredients together in a medium bowl. Let sit at room temperature for 5 to 20 minutes and serve.
