ABOUT THE RECIPE:

Sweet pineapple and plump strawberries combine to make a delectable Pineapple-Banana-Strawberry Smoothie combination. If you prefer agave syrup, you can use it instead of the maple syrup in this recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

2 very large peeled, and sliced frozen bananas
2 cups cold nondairy milk, plus more as needed
1 1/2 cups cubed pineapple, chilled
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon maple syrup, plus more as needed (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Taste and add more nondairy milk or maple syrup, if desired. Pour the mixture into pretty dessert dishes or glasses. Serve immediately.
