ABOUT THE RECIPE:
This creamy vegan Banana Milk-less Shake will curb cravings if you desire a thick, frosty treat!
Makes 3 to 4 servings
INGREDIENTS:
3 very large (or 4 small) frozen bananas (see note)
1 1/2 cups cold vanilla-flavored or plain nondairy milk, plus more as needed (See VARIATION!)
2 tablespoons maple syrup, plus more as needed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
Put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Taste and add more nondairy milk or maple syrup, if desired and continue to process until smooth. Pour the mixture into pretty dessert dishes or glasses, and serve!
VARIATION - "Chocolate Banana Milk-less Shake": For an easy vegan chocolate shake, use chocolate-flavored nondairy milk in place of the vanilla-flavored nondairy milk!
NOTE: To freeze a banana, peel and cut it into 3 or 4 pieces, and put the banana pieces into a resealable freezer bag. Seal and freeze for at least 12 hours before using.
