ABOUT THE RECIPE:
My Vegan Herbed Buttery Spread is a quick way to add flavor to crusty bread, baguettes, or dinner rolls.
Makes 10 to 12 servings
INGREDIENTS:
1/3 to 1⁄2 cup vegan buttery spread, at room temperature
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend (optional)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Put the vegan buttery spread, fresh herbs, optional Italian seasoning and garlic powder, in a small bowl and mash with the back of a fork until thoroughly combined. Divide into small ramekins and serve alongside a basket of bread or rolls to pass around the table.
