Banana-Raspberry Sorbet

ABOUT THE RECIPE:

This refreshing sorbet whips up in just a few minutes in your blender. This fabulous frozen treat makes the perfect close to any festive meal!

Makes 3 to 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

2 very large peeled, chopped and frozen bananas
1 cup frozen raspberries (see note for variations)
2⁄3 cup cold vanilla-flavored or plain dairy-free milk (sweetened or unsweetened), plus more as needed
(see note)
2 tablespoons maple syrup, plus more as needed

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put all of the ingredients in a high performance blender or food processor and process, adding more dairy-free milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until incorporated. Scrape down sides of container if needed. Continue to process on medium-high speed until mixture has the consistency of a thick sorbet.

Taste and add more maple syrup, if desired. Serve immediately in pretty parfait glasses or dessert bowls.

NOTE: If preferred, you may use frozen blueberries, frozen sliced peaches, or frozen strawberries in place of the raspberries.

NOTE: You can use your preferred plant-based milk (sweetened or unsweetened) in this recipe. If you use the plain variety, you can add a dash of vanilla extract, if desired (optional).
