INGREDIENTS:

2 cups (1 pint) strawberries, destemmed and halved
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put the strawberries, sugar and vinegar in a medium bowl and stir gently until thoroughly combined. Cover and let sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes and serve at room temperature, or refrigerate (for 1 to 2 hours) and serve chilled.
